NM Prickly Pear Jelly is a family operation that promotes “Buying Local” whenever possible to support our communities and our Albuquerque roots. Our prickly pears are grown and harvested in the Tijeras Canyon. We also make sure that the leftover prickly pear materials are never wasted. These leftovers are used to make a variety of products, from moisturizer to fertilizer! We are a woman-owned, family-run, company. We farm our prickly pears - started in 2017 and have been going strong for five years. Our farm is based in the east mountains of ABQ.
All products are made from the prickly pear cactus fruit called Prickly Pear. Food products include regular prickly pear jam, prickly pear hatch green Chile jam, prickly pear orange marmalade jam, and syrup. Beauty products include bath bombs (lavender, orange, and eucalyptus). Soaps, charcoal, lavender, and eucalyptus. We are currently introducing a honey prickly pear.
