We are glad to announce a great opportunity for small business marketing trainings. We know many of you are interested in digital marketing.
We are collaborating with Renata Klawer who is an expert in digital marketing to put on a (6 modules-free for SVEDC members) and they focus on the basic concepts of marketing for your business.
All of the modules will be in English and free for all members of SVEDC
-If you are not a member of SVEDC each module will cost $10
Important things to note:
You must register for each module individually
There will be a total of 10 spots available for each module
All modules will be done via Zoom
All participants who successfully complete 4 of the modules will receive up to 5 hours of paid consulting with our SVEDC partner/contractor for questions, logo development, etc.
This event is a series of courses for SVEDC entrepreneurs to improve their companies branding. We will explain the importance of creating a meaningful and appropriate visual identity to support the marketing of a small business. These courses will guide students though the basics of the design process, helping them apply the learned concepts to their specific marketing needs.
What will be taught: basics of VI:
The importance of VI
Color theory and color sense
Composition, layout, spacing
Typography and images
How to create a VI (name and logo) and apply it to their needs (business cards, menu design, flyers, coupons, t-shirts, a-print, exterior food truck design, website social media, etc.)
Outcomes:
Using the brief created in the previous session, students will start thinking about how they want visually to represent their identity (name, illustration)
Students will create a visual identity brief doc with all their idea
For homework, students will start drawing a rough draft of their logo
